There are two types of binder, Emulsion and Powder, Emulsion for Polyester Resin or Vinyl ester use and Powder bound for use exclusively with Epoxy Resins.Once the Matt has been brushed with a Polyester Resin the binder will slowly break down and thus enabling the material to easily conform to shapes and be consolidated into a laminate.Generally you would use 1.5 to 2.5 Resin to Glass ratio, so for every Kg of Matt you would use between 1.5kg to 2.5kg of Resin.
